Tyler Grote
Executive Vice President

Tyler joined Osprey in 2018 and was promoted to Executive Vice President in 2023.  He is responsible for managing multiple affordable housing developments, working on sourcing new opportunities, directing pre-development activities, construction management and lease-up. Prior to joining Osprey, Tyler was a Research Manager and Market Analyst at CoStar Group, working on commercial real estate data and trend analysis on multifamily, office, retail and industrial properties across the country.  Previously, Tyler worked for two Washington, DC-based Smart Growth advocacy groups, where he advocated for affordable housing, mixed-use development, and multimodal transportation policies.  Tyler holds a Masters in Real Estate Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland.
