President

Brian joined Osprey in 2001 as Vice President of Development, becoming partner with David Lewis and Brett Guy in 2003. Brian was appointed President of Osprey Property Company II in 2016 to lead Osprey through its next phase of growth. Brian brings experience in all aspects of real estate development, specifically construction management and financial structuring of complex transactions involving affordable, historic, and market rate housing. Brian leads Osprey’s multifamily housing operation, including the acquisition and development of over 5,300 units of multifamily and senior housing totaling over $1 billion in development activity. Brian takes a hands-on approach with his management of real estate development projects and his many years of experience allows him to find creative and practical solutions to the difficult issues that arise. Through his leadership, Osprey is recognized as an innovative leader in the affordable housing industry, creating mixed income and mixed-use communities throughout Maryland and Northern Virginia. Brian is active in promoting workforce housing initiatives and is currently serving on the Maryland Affordable Housing Coalition Development Committee and Legislative Committee, as well as the Virginia Housing Development Authority’s Advisory Board. Brian also serves as a board member for the Community Assistance Network in Baltimore County; served on the Executive Committee of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders; and is a former President of the Anne Arundel Affordable Housing Coalition. Prior to joining Osprey, Brian worked as a loan officer for AGM Financial Services. Prior to AGM, Brian was responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process for several new and remodeled supermarkets as a project manager for Safeway, Inc. stores. Brian graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a B.A. in Economics and was president of the Economics Honor Society. He received his M.S. in Real Estate Development from the Johns Hopkins University.
